Otter Course – The Preserve, Clearwater, MN
The Otter Course is the newest addition to The Preserve’s lineup, opening in 2025 with fresh tee signs and turf tee pads. Designed as the most beginner- and family-friendly layout on the property, Otter offers a welcoming introduction to the sport while still providing plenty of fun for experienced players.
At just 4,166 feet with holes ranging from 150–300 feet, Otter plays as a par 54 and features an approachable park-style design. The fairways are mostly open, minimizing the chance of losing discs, while still offering a variety of lines that help newer players build confidence and seasoned golfers sharpen their short game.
Perfect as a warm-up round, a quicker second or third loop, or a starting point for new players, Otter fills the gap where the Red Fox might feel too punishing. Surrounded by The Preserve’s natural beauty, the course provides a laid-back yet scenic disc golf experience for all ages.
