I graduated from Valley City State with a degree in Biology Education, where I also played college football. After college I accepted a full time position as a High School Biology Teacher at St. Michael Albertville High School. Along with being a teacher, I also coach middle school football and work as a strength and conditioning coach for the North Wright County Riverhawks Summer Hockey Program. With a background in teaching, athletics and coaching, I have developed the skills to personalize instruction for people on an individual basis. Everyone learns differently and it is my objective and purpose to help coach disc golf to the individuals strengths and personal goals. I myself have been playing disc golf since 2011 and competitively since 2017. Early in my career I won disc golf tournaments in Amateurs and have found myself competing for top positions in Professionals when I moved up.
I was fortunate last year to be a Preserve Coach. Through that experience I coached disc golfers from as young as nine years old to eighty years old. Through the lessons I was able to help disc golfers improve their distance, their form, routines, mental game and overall improve their scores in competitive and leisure disc golf. I take videos during the lessons and break them down and send them to the individuals so they can improve on things even after the lessons. I also like to send them home with drills so they can continue to work on the things we worked on during the lessons and make sure to follow up with as them. Disc golf is my passion and I like sharing this amazing game with other people.

I work full-time as an Athletic Trainer at TRIA Orthopedic.  Due to my background in orthopedics, I have a strong emphasis on body mechanics and injury prevention with my coaching style.  Not only do I want others throwing better, I want them to do it in a pain free way so they can continue this sport for years to come.I have been playing competitive disc golf for 15 years now.  I have won multiple PDGA sanctioned events at both B and C tiers throughout the Midwest.  I held 1000+ player rating for 1.5 years and strive to get back to that level of consistency again.  While I don't have the biggest arm around, I am able to utilize my skill sets and manage the courses to the best of my ability for consistent results.  Course management is probably my greatest strength, but I also have strength in multiple skill sets including putting, approach shots, and both forehand and backhand form.
