Workhorse putter

I heard so many good things about the Aviar from friends and pros that I had to try it, and I'm glad I did. This is my go to putter inside 25 feet. It goes exactly where you tell it to with almost no effort. It's smooth, accurate, and sits down in the basket. I absolutely love this disc!

The gold standard in putters

In the last 15 years of disc golfing, I remember my first putter - a Star Aviar. Over the years, and after trying many other manufacturers and styles (beaded, no-bead, different plastics), I have landed on the Tour Series (Galactic Pro) Aviar as my go-to putting putter. The feel in the hand is amazing, and the stiffness is perfect. However, they’re also like $30. So, this winter I put a few of these DX Classic Aviars on my Christmas list for practice on the basket in the basement. I fell in love all over again.

The firmness of these is excellent, and their stability, and pretty quick beat in period is great. I actually have moved 2 into my bag to rotate in and out even for straight up shots too.

Especially at the relatively low price point, these do not disappoint!!
