Tame your mid-range shots. Defined by its stable flight, the Lion will attack at any angle—hyzer, flat, or anhyzer. The convex rim, small bead and flat flight plate give the Lion a comfortable grip and create a neutral flight. Thrown hard and flat, it'll finish with a touch more glide than a Roc3 and enough fade to keep it on track. Trust that anhyzer throws will hold a long, consistent line throughout the flight.

Point and Shoot midrange is a straight shooter.

I love this disc!

If you are looking for a straighter flying, over stable midrange than the Roc, the Lion is a disc for you. It does have a bead, but this disc still feels great in the hand and to throw. I personally love beaded mid ranges. The only condition I do not like throwing this disc in is when there is a cross headwind at 20-30 mph near water. The lion works great for both forehand and backhand approach shots as well as tee shots for shorter drives. I can consistently get this disc to go between 225 and 300 feet accurately. Also, this stamp is one of my favorites! If you are trying to decide between star or champion plastic, I recommend the star plastic for the Lion.
